At my graphic design studio, I approached their challenge by focusing on how to translate their fun, welcoming, neighborhood vibe into both their social media and print materials. We worked to develop a cohesive visual language—playful, approachable, and true to their brand—that could live just as easily on an Instagram grid as it could on a flyer or menu. The goal was to create consistency without losing personality, turning every touchpoint into an authentic extension of the experience customers love in person.
For each pop-up or event, I treated it as a one-of-a-kind experience, designing visuals that reflected the personality of the guest chef or entertainment while still staying true to Daps’ vibrant, fun-loving brand. Whether it was a punk rock ramen night or a tropical brunch collab, the design captured the spirit of the moment without losing the playful charm people associate with Daps. It was all about balancing individuality with brand consistency to make every event feel fresh, exciting, and unmistakably Daps.
Our strategy centered around creating a steady stream of social content paired with bold, eye-catching posters displayed throughout the restaurant to build anticipation and excitement for each event. By meeting our audience both online and in person, we kept the buzz alive and made sure no guest missed out—whether they were scrolling their feed or grabbing coffee. This multi-touch approach not only boosted attendance but reinforced Daps as a hub for fun, creative happenings in the neighborhood.
Our efforts paid off with consistently strong attendance at events and pop-ups, often drawing crowds that packed the space and created a lively, communal energy. The tailored designs and coordinated social strategy sparked real engagement online, leading to increased follower growth, more interactions, and a noticeable boost in brand visibility. By aligning the vibe of each event with our creative approach, we turned casual followers into loyal fans and made every activation feel like the place to be.
